LOBSTER BALLS 

INGREDIENTS:

Lobster – 300 gms, cut into pieces


Flour – 3/4 cup

Baking Powder – 3/4 tsp

Egg – 1, beaten

Water – 2/3 cup

Cornflour – 1 tblsp

Peanut Oil as required

Salt as per taste

Pepper as per taste

Sugar as per taste

Ajinomoto – a pinch

Parsley to garnish


METHOD:

1. Sift the flour and baking powder together.

2. Place in a bowl.

3. Add the egg and whisk, gradually adding water.

4. Leave it to stand for 60 minutes.

5. Dust the lobster pieces with the salt, pepper, ajinimoto and sugar.

6. Roll them in the cornflour.

7. Heat the oil in a pan.

8. Dip the lobsters in the batter and deep fry until they are crisp on the outside.

9. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.

10. Garnish with parsley.


11. Serve hot.
