hi friends now we r going to prepare prawn pickles ..................

SPICY PRAWN PICKLE

INGREDIENTS:

Prawns – 1 1/4 cups, small, shelled, deveined

 
Grind to a smooth paste with 6 tblsp of Vinegar:

Kashmiri Chillies – 10 to 12

Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp

Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp, optional

Black Peppercorns – 1/2 tsp

Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp

Garlic – 3 tsp, chopped

Ginger – 2 tsp, chopped

Vegetable Oil – 1 cup

Onions – 2, medium, chopped

Curry leaves – 8 to 10

Vinegar – 6 tbsp

Green Chillies – 2

Salt to Taste

Sugar – 2 tsp


METHOD:

1. Heat the oil in a pan.

2. Saute the onions till soft and golden.

3. Add the curry leaves and the ground paste.

4. Saute for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

5. Add the prawns and stir fry for a few minutes.

6. Add the vinegar, green chillies, salt and sugar.

7. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.

8. Adjust seasoning.

9. Remove from heat.

10. Bottle when cool.

11. Serve with rice and curry.
