PINEAPPLE BIRYANI

Why could we make a biryani with pineapple . ..................... here s the twist ...............

PINEAPPLE BIRYANI 

INGREDIENTS:

Raw Rice – 2 cups

Pineapple Slices – 6

Lemon Food Colour – a pinch

Sugar – 1 cup

Milk Maid – 1/2 cup

Ghee – 3 tblsp

Cardamom Powder – a pinch


METHOD:

1. Grind the pineapples to a smooth paste.

2. Add water and strain well to make 2 cups of pineapple juice

3. Dry roast the rice for 30 to 60 seconds.

4. Pour 1 cup water, milk maid and pineapple juice to the rice.

5. Pressure cook till done.

6. Add 1 tblsp water to sugar and bring to a boil.

7. When it starts to thicken, add cardamom powder, food colour and ghee.

8. Mix well.

9. Add to the cooked rice and mix well.

10. Serve.
